Politics and Religion:
Two topics that are as divisive as ever. Even for those who call the same Jesus their Lord, common ground can be hard to find. The conflict-filled history of the Christian church has proven, fractures of the faith are deep and difficult. And the blood, sweat, and tears shed by our forebears are evidence of our strongly held beliefs.
Is there any hope for dialogue?
“A Civil Conversation on Christian Differences: The Reformation at 500 years”, a nation-wide effort, presents various tradition’s views of Luther’s bold act and the resulting change in the Church.
Join speakers Fr. Thomas Baima and Dr. John Armstrong for an evening centered on the real issues that started the 500-year old Reformation, the real differences among various Christian traditions, and the hope for finding common ground in a world of division.
